"How to sharpen a Chainsaw Chain" is one of the most Googled terms to do with chainsaws so don't feel bad if you haven't got it sorted yet. Help is at hand with the STIHL 2 in1 File. I use this file to sharpen my chains when I am at home and they need a tickle up. These files were also a real hit at the Fieldays as they are the easiest way to get the tooth and the depth gauge (drag) filed correctly together...and that means optimum chip size on every tooth for maximum cutting efficiency...and that means get the job done way faster and it is easier on you and the saw!
Pro Tip: A little bit ofter is better than a heap every now and then when it comes to sharpening your chain ie. don't let it get too blunt before you sharpen.

OK, I have made a list of common STIHL Chainsaws so I can quickly tell you which size file to get. Find your chainsaw below then click on the green "SHOP NOW" button. STUMP VICE
