A little competition is a good thing. Especially when you're competing at something that really matters. Like barbecue. And let's face it, whether you're competing against the top smoke masters, the guy next door, or yourself, barbecue matters. So, for all you folks who like to win – the smoke pit crews, the Backyard Chefs the apron-wearing, tong-carrying people who live to "Grill" – it is YOU for whom we build our Yoder Smokers.

Yoder Smokers are NOT the typical barbecue pit you buy down at the local department store. These pits are designed for use at the biggest BBQ competitions, and in your own backyard where the competition can be just as stiff. We construct our line of competition-grade smoker pits to last a lifetime. In fact, that's how long we guarantee them against burnout. Our pits have so much steel in them that even the smallest pit we make weighs in at 255 pounds... and our biggest pits weigh well over 1,200 pounds, before we even add a trailer to the weight. So, when your neighbor's shiny polished-steel grill has burnt through and is headed for the dump, you'll still be smoking away.

Direct Grilling

It’s simple – remove the standard grate and heat diffuser plate and install the direct Grill Grates. Prepare to be amazed by the sizzle that pops off the surface of this pellet grill. Indirect Griling

With the cooker set up for direct, you have an outstanding indirect grilling surface opposite the firebox. You’ll get sear marks without the direct heat for entrees like fish or sides like veggie kababs. The added versatility of a YS pellet grill will let you move all of your cooking outside. 

Baking

Seriously, anything you can bake in your oven will be better on your Yoder. Swedish chocolate pudding, cornbread, pizza, you get the picture. The Yoder series of pellet cookers will make light work out of all of your cooking requirements.

Pellet Grills

Offset Smokers

Offset smokers are the kings of the barbecue world, used by everyone from backyard cooks to professional pitmasters. When you own an offset smoker, it says you are serious about your BBQ.  By burning charcoal and/or wood in the side firebox, the meat is cooked in the main chamber over indirect heat, creating moist and tender BBQ.  Smoke is drawn through the cooking chamber to give the meat a rich smoky flavor.

Yoder Durango Vertical Offset Smoker, $6,895

For gatherings of 50 or more, the Durango 20" provides up to 2,681 total inches of cooking surface: 342 square inches of direct grilling surface in the firebox, 1,235 (with optional 2nd shelf) square inches of horizontal indirect grilling surface and 1,104 square inches (4 shelves @ 276 square inches each) of slow smoking surface in the vertical chamber.
